| Designated as a "critical" poultry breed by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, the Salmon Faverolle is a hearty, calm and attractive chicken. Known for their feathered, five-toed feet, the roosters, in particular, have lovely plumage. The hens lay brown eggs and are considered a dual purpose bird. Ours roam free-range in the pasture during the day and spend nights in their coop. |
